Incredibly, it's just under four months to go until the most fun you can have on a bike! 

The 2025 Euro Steel Drak Descent promises once again to be an EPIC weekend out and the team at Sani Spoors are making some exciting changes to the trails.

If you've taken part in the past, you'll know how much fun the two days of riding is and we are sure that it's going to be even better in 2025.

We've had some late winter weather lately in the Southern Drakensberg but that hasn't stopped our team from getting out to clear the trails.

ROUTE CHANGES

In 2025 we will be starting and finishing at the Olde Duck and we're going to be taking riders through some new, exciting single track in the forests where you will be able to see the river and the paddlers!

It's about 13km of brand new single track through the Restmount property before we rejoin the traditional trails of the Drak Descent.

ENTRY INFORMATION

There's not that long to go to get that entry in so make sure that you do it ASAP because the field is filling up quickly!

A GREEN EVENT

The Euro Steel Drak Descent continues to try and minimise its impact on the environment, and we continue to put in place measures to be as green as possible.

We have made sure that our use of plastic is as minimal as possible with compostable cups being used to negate the impact of single use plastics.

Our commitment to the use of GPS’s is also inline with our pledge to leave the route as untouched as we can.
